City of El Lago & CCISD Project to Reduce Ed White Elementary Traffic Congestion

The City of El Lago has been working with the Clear Creek Independent School District (CCISD) to ensure the planned changes to Ed White Elementary have the School and the City’s best interest in mind. Both the City and CCISD are pleased to announce they have agreed on a plan that currently will not change the existing roadways in El Lago while still reducing congestion during drop-off and pick-up times.

The City plans to propose additional traffic studies to determine effective solutions to accommodate the current and anticipated increased congestion around the Loch Lake entrance and throughout the city due to expected future growth, and will be working closely with the City of Seabrook to understand any impacts the planned development of the land adjacent will have on CCISD and traffic flow through El Lago.

The City of El Lago is proud that the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) program is thriving at Ed White Elementary and that the school continues to grow and expand. We will continue to work with CCISD and Seabrook to ensure that El Lago’s city-wide best interests are at the forefront.
